Swansea's De Guzman: I owe it all to Laudrup

Swansea City midfielder Jonathan de Guzman admits he owes his Holland call to manager Michael Laudrup.

De Guzman, who is on loan from Villarreal, admits he owes it all to Laudrup.

He said: "It was a great experience. It vindicates my decision to come here in a team that suits me, with a manager who believes in me.

"I don't want this to end - I am enjoying my football and want this to last as long as possible.

"Swansea put themselves on the map in their first season in the Premier League.

"This year was always going to be difficult, but we've carried on playing our football and it has worked well for me.

"It is great to be a part of this club."
