Swansea City will not rush into selling defender Ashley Williams.
WalesOnline says reports of a stalling in talks over a new deal for the Wales star have led to suggestions Arsenal were ready to follow-up on previous interest in the 29-year-old and that the club would have to take a cut-price bid of £3m for his services.
Swansea, though, are relaxed over the matter with no plans to sell Williams on the cheap given the short-term cost to replace such a key figure.
If no fresh terms can be agreed, the possibility of letting him play through the remainder of his contract will not be ruled out.
