Swansea warn Gomis he's not going anywhere

Swansea City are digging in their heels over the sale of Bafetimbi Gomis.

WalesOnline says the want-away Frenchman is likely to be told to forget any hope of a new deal to keep him happy as the club aim to keep their transfer window plans on track.

Gomis claimed in a television interview in France that promises over his starting opportunities had been broken and suggested his advisors were in discussions with Swansea over a move away just five months after joining from Lyon.

Swansea were understood to be furious by Gomis' comments, while he was believed to have been spoken to by manager Garry Monk as the team resumed training yesterday ahead of the weekend's FA Cup clash with Blackburn.
