Swansea City are watching Fiorentina goalkeeper Neto.
The Brazilian is in new contract talks with the Viola, but with no agreement yet struck, Neto can commit to a pre-contract with any foreign club from January 1.
Swansea have joined Liverpool in monitoring the goalkeeper's situation.
The Swans lost Michel Vorm to Tottenham over the summer, replacing him with Lukasz Fabianski from Arsenal.
However, there remain doubts over the strength of Swansea's keeper stocks and a Bosman deal for Neto is now under consideration.
While he qualifies for Brazil, such has been Neto's form that he has been mentioned for a future Italy call this season.
