Swansea City are believed to be showing considerable interest in Middlesbrough captain Rhys Williams.
Sky Sports is reporting that the Australian international has emerged on the radar of the Swans who could lodge a £1million bid this month.
Williams is most comfortable as a centre-half but his versatility as a full-back and in midfield has attracted the attention of Swansea boss Michael Laudrup.
