IFK Gothenburg striker Lasse Vibe has turned down a move to Tianjin Teda.
IFK accepted a bid from the Chinese club this week for Vibe, who is also wanted by Swansea City.
"I have been told by Lasse's agent that he is still with us," IFK chief Mats Gren told GT.
"I was told around lunch, but as for myself I have not talked to Lasse.
"I'll let him be at peace because there has been so much gossip around him."
Swansea see the Dane as a replacement for Manchester City striker Wilfried Bony.
