Swansea City are surprise favourites for want-away Stoke City striker Eidur Gudjohnsen.

The Mail on Sunday says Gudjohnsen will head to Swansea City this month after being frozen out at Stoke after only four months.

Fulham had also been linked with the former Chelsea striker.

The former Barcelona and Chelsea striker is wanted by Swansea manager Brendan Rodgers, who knows the player from his time at Stamford Bridge.
