Swansea City striker Wilfried Bony is excited to be playing alongside Chelsea icon Didier Drogba for Ivory Coast in the World Cup.
Bony admits Drogba was a role model for him.
"Didier is a hero to everyone in the Ivory Coast," said Bony. "For years he has been our best player and the way he played for Chelsea showed how good he was and he made us believe in our country.
"Seeing what he did well made me want to be a success. He set an example for Ivory Coast players to follow. Didier was a model for me and Ronaldo was a hero.
"It was difficult to follow them but I had in my mind what could do and playing in a World Cup was part of that dream. Every player is the same and dreams of playing in these tournaments and I am no different. But it will be extra special to play in Brazil where football is everything and all the people love the game."
