Swansea City are hopeful of securing the signature of Middlesbrough captain Rhys Williams this week according to reports.
The Welsh club are looking to bolster their defence by bringing in the Australian defender for somewhere in between £1million and £1.5million.
The Swans amped up their pursuit of Williams last week and are still confident of landing the 25-year old who can also operate as a defensive midfielder.
