Jordi Amat is ready to make his competitive debut for Swansea City this week.
The former Espanyol defender is set to start in Swansea's Europa League clash with Malmo.
"Facing Malmo will be the biggest game of my career so far," said Amat to the South Wales Echo. "The Europa League is a big competition and this game is very important.
"I don't know what the manager (Michael Laudrup) will do in terms of selecting the team, but I hope I will be given the chance to play.
"He makes the decisions, but I am ready for the challenge.
"I know Malmo won 7-0 (against Scottish side Hibernian) last week, so it's important for us to keep them at zero."
