Swansea City have snapped up Burnley defender David Edgar on-loan.

The Canadian has moved to Swansea for immediate first-team football. Edgar has been limited to just two starts in the Premier League following his arrival at Turf Moor from Newcastle United last summer.

Burnley have the option to recall him after the initia;\l 28-day period should they require.
