Swansea City are insisting on £15 million for Joe Allen.

The South Wales Echo says Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has offered £12.5m and England Under-21 midfielder Jonjo Shelvey on loan.

The Swans are holding out for £15m, which would trigger a release clause in Allen's contract and enable him to seal his move to Anfield.
