Swansea City pair Leon Britton and Marvin Emnes are out of their Premier League kickoff due to injury.
WalesOnline says Britton is suffering from a badly bruised bone in his knee, while Emnes has a meniscal (cartilage) problem.
Both players will have another scan in two weeks' time to assess the full damage.
But on their official website the Swans said the pair are not expected to make the opening league game of the season against Manchester United at Old Trafford on August 16.
