Swansea City are moving for River Plate striker Mariano Pavone.
The Daily Express says Swansea are trying to wrestle Pavone from Blackburn Rovers' grasp.
Argentina striker Mariano Pavone, 29, had agreed a three-year deal with Blackburn, but they have been unable to finalise the deal.
Swans boss Brendan Rodgers held talks with his representative yesterday as they look to step in for the £5.5m-rated free agent.
