Swansea City midfielder Leon Britton feels new manager Garry Monk will have learned from his time with Brendan Rodgers and Roberto Martinez.
While Britton can see the best of both Rodgers and Martinez - the two most influential managers in Swansea's recent history - in his new gaffer, he also thinks Monk can be his own man as a manager.
"Roberto and Brendan had a massive impact at this football club and had fantastic ideas on the training ground," said Britton.
"And as players you should suck it in and learn from it if you want to go into coaching.
"Garry would have taken in from them regarding the way they went about their business on the training pitch and off the field.
"And why wouldn't you? Look at them at Everton and Liverpool, right at the top of the league, which shows they must have been doing something right."
