Swansea City have made a record bid for Lyon striker Bafetimbi Gomis.
The Daily Mail says Swansea have made a club record £8.5m offer for France international Gomis, who is already the subject of a bid from Cardiff City.
The 27-year-old has just 12 months remaining on contract and much may hinge on whether Swansea can match his £3m-plus wage demands and if manager Michael Laudrup stays.
