Swansea City are still hopeful of landing Seydou Doumbia from AS Roma.
The Ivory Coast international is currently on loan at Russian club CSKA Moscow but remains a key target for the Swans this winter.
The Daily Mail reports that the Welsh club have made enquiries about 28-year-old Doumbia who has scored 11 goals in 21 appearances in all competitions this term including three in Champions League qualifying.
Doumbia joined Italian club Roma from CSKA in January 2015 but returned to Moscow on a season-long loan in the summer after failing to make an impact for the Giallorossi.
Swansea's potential pursuit of Doumbia will become clearer once the dust settles on Francesco Guidolin's appointment as head coach, which occurred on Monday.
