New Preston North End signing Lee Trundle faces four months out.
The Daily Mail says Swansea City legend Trundle needs a knee operation that will keep him out of action for up to four months.
Manager Graham Westley confirmed striker Trundle, 35, suffered ligament damage in the friendly defeat by Morecambe on July 21.
He had signed a one-year contract one day earlier.
