Swansea furious with wantaway striker Gomis

Swansea City are angry over the behaviour of wantaway striker Bafetimbi Gomis.

The Daily Mail says senior sources at the club insist that despite their anger with the Frenchman's apparent agitations for a move, they are forced by sheer necessity to keep the 29-year-old, who is Swansea's only senior striker in the wake of Wilfried Bony's exit.

Gomis used a television interview in France to indicate promises of playing time had been broken.

His remarks have been noted by Crystal Palace, who are actively keen, while his camp have also claimed that Arsenal, Newcastle, Borussia Dortmund and Schalke are interested.
