Swansea City are close to a deal for Real Betis midfielder Alejandro Pozuelo.

The Western Mail says Swansea will look to bring a conclusion to a six-month chase of Betis attacking talent Pozuelo, the 21-year-old is set to sign a three-year-deal in South Wales in the coming days.

Swansea will have to pay a fee of around £425,000 as part of a compensation package for the out-of-contract hot prospect.

But there appears nothing standing in the way of Pozuelo joining fellow former Betis teammate Jose Canas in South Wales.
