Swansea City set to become BIG IN JAPAN

Swansea City are going international: They're officially BIG IN JAPAN.

Football pundit Florent Dabadie helps present one of Japan's biggest football shows, The Corner, which is shown on Monday nights and he's profiling the Premier League new boys this week.

He told the Wales Evening Post: "We are always looking for stories from world football and when it was clear Swansea or Cardiff City might go up, we decided to do a story on whichever one did as we thought it would be interesting.

"Some of the best Japanese players are in the German and Italian leagues so they get a lot of attention but the Premier League is considered one of the best in the world.

"We are going to the launch of the new kit and are looking forward to interviewing Brendan Rodgers and some of the players. We are also looking forward to doing the report as not many people in Japan know about Wales and Swansea.

"With the club being in the Premier League, it will be good for tourism here.

"I am French and Wales in my country is known as being a rugby place so with the club being in the division it will help more people know about Wales.

"I haven't seen a Swansea game live but I hear they play good football and I hope they keep it up when they play in the Premier League."
