Swansea boss Rodgers happy Sinclair getting on scoresheet

Swansea City boss Brendan Rodgers is delighted seeing Scott Sinclair score his first goal from open play in victory over Fulham.

Rodgers, who praised Sinclair for his link play with the likes of Leroy Lita and Luke Moore, believes the strike will be a huge confidence boost for the former Chelsea man.

"You'll see the change in him now," said Rodgers.

"His all-round game was great, he was a threat for us and he puts defenders on the back foot. I thought he combined much better than in some of his other games instead of being a soloist all the time. He was unfortunate a couple of times."
