Swansea City boss Garry Monk is unsure about keeping hold of Jonathan de Guzman.

The Dutchman remains tied to Villarreal and has spoken of signing permanently for the Swans this summer.

"I have not talked to Jonathan," said Monk.

"I know the club has contacted his agent and that there has been consultation, but beyond that we have not yet heard anything."

De Guzman was part of Holland's run to the World Cup semifinals.
