Swansea City boss Garry Monk has jumped to the defence of Manchester City striker Wilfried Bony.
Bony has struggled since his January move from Swans.
"He found it tough to start when he came here," said Monk.
"But he has incredible drive and nothing was going to stop him playing. If he was going to break into the team and play regularly then he was going to do it whether anyone wrote him off or not.
"That's how he is as a person. He has the perfect mentality to go and do it at a big club like Manchester City. He can be key for them next season.
"The move was not a mistake. Wilfried is not driven by money, it was a football decision.
"Given a chance he will succeed there, for sure. I have never seen a player with that strength. He will score goals for City."
