Wayne Routledge is set to miss up to a month with Swansea City.
The winger sustained a calf injury in the weekend's 5-0 loss to Chelsea and will now be sidelined for around four weeks.
The good news for Swansea, however, is that Jefferson Montero is available to replace Routledge after returning from a hamstring strain suffered on Boxing Day.
The Welsh club, who sit ninth on the Premier League table, next meet Blackburn Rovers in the fourth round of the FA Cup on Saturday before heading to Southampton in the league on February 1.
