The depth of the Juventus squad will once again be tested with the loss of Christian Molinaro and Momo Sissoko. Suspension will rule both out of the home clash against Fiorentina, adding their names to superstar list of absentees which includes Giorgio Chiellini, Gigi Buffon, Dario Knezevic, Zdenek Grygera, Mauro Camoranesi, Jonathan Zebina, Hasan Salihamidzic, Vincenzo Iaquinta and David Trezeguet.
As a result, 19-year-old youth team defender Lorenzo Ariaudo, who got his Serie A debut as centre-back yesterday, is likely to be in contention again.
Juventus boss Claudio Ranieri was pleased with Ariaudo's debut: "Last year when I let him play in international friendlies, he always seemed confident and secure. He did very well in the Coppa Italia against Catania.
"I was a little unsure, but I told Mellberg I didn't feel like changing the shape of the defence and was convinced Ariaudo would do well against Zarate, as he already impressed me against Real Madrid when faced with Drenthe."
