Sunderland striker Andy Cole put aside retirement talk to net a hat-trick for Burnley in last night's victory over QPR.
Cole answered the home fans' taunts of 'You're not famous any more', by deflecting home Joey Gudjonsson's thunderous free-kick four minutes before half- time.
It was a sweet riposte for the 36-year-old former Manchester United and England striker.
He put Burnley back in the game in the 56th minute when he stabbed home a cross from Ade Akinbiyi, who then had a free header from Stephen Caldwell's knock-back to put Burnley in front in the 77th minute.
Cole had the final word in the 86th minute when he met Wade Elliott's right-wing cross with a header from seven yards.
