Sunderland are closing in on the signing of Charis Mavrias from Panathinaikos according to reports.
The 19-year old Greek winger is available for around £2.5million and is expected to sign with the Black Cats early in the week.
Initially, Sunderland wanted a season-long loan with the view to a permanent move but Pana' are keen to negotiate an immediate sale.
