Sunderland are set to launch a summer bid for West Ham United's Diafra Sakho.
The Daily Mail is reporting that the Black Cats are pushing on with their pursuit of the Senegalese striker who was signed by Sam Allardyce when he was in charge of the Hammers.
It is believed that the Wearside club are prepared to offer £10million for Sakho.
Sakho endured a frustrating campaign at Upton Park in 2015/16 and is likely to be given permission to leave East London as Slaven Bilic prepares to bring in a new striker for their first foray into the 60,000-capacity Olympic Stadium.
The 26-year-old, who arrived from Metz in 2014, scored 12 goals under Allardyce and although it is believed he had his differences with 'Big Sam', the Senegal international fancies a change of environment as his opportunities at West Ham are set to dry up even further.
