Sunderland boss Steve Bruce has concerns that keeper Craig Gordon will be out until February with a broken arm. Gordon suffered the injury in the Black Cats' final game before the international break at Tottenham following a challenge by Jermain Defoe.
The Scotland international had reclaimed his place in the Sunderland team following a knee injury and Bruce has cursed his side's luck after Gordon joined Lee Cattermole as a long-term absentee.
"Craig's injury is the most disappointing thing to come out of the last couple of weeks," Bruce told the club's official website.
"It looks as if it's going to be three months. We've not had much luck in that respect - that's two serious injuries in a month."
