Sunderland have recalled David Meyler from his loan at Hull City.

The midfielder has scored twice in a successful month at the Championship club with former manager Steve Bruce.

Sunderland boss Martin O'Neill said: "At least if he gets on the field of play with us, which I imagine he will, his fitness levels won't worry me as much as it might have done before."
