Sunderland have recalled winger Billy Knott from his loan at Wycombe Wanderers.

The 21-year-old was due to return to Wearside at the end of this month, but Sunderland have opted to end the ex-Chelsea youngster's loan a fortnight early, says the Sunderland Echo.

There has been speculation that Knott could be a target for League OnePort Vale.
