Sunderland midfielder David Meyler is delighted with his loan move to Hull City.

Meyler has been including in the travelling party to face Cardiff today after training with his new team-mates for the first time yesterday.

He said: "I had a couple of other clubs interested in signing me on loan but to be able to work with Steve Bruce again is a great opportunity.

"When I found out he wanted me to come down, I didn't have to think too hard about it. It was an easy decision to make."
