Sunderland midfielder Craig Gardner has slammed Chelsea striker Demba Ba.

The midfielder was booked for bringing down the former Newcastle player during the Blues' 2-1 win on Sunday and he will now serve a two?match ban as it was his 10th caution of the season.

It was a heavy challenge by Gardner but he claimed: "It was not a yellow card. It was a fair tackle. He has just rolled around and forced the booking."
