Sunderland goalkeeper Simon Mignolet is adamant results will turn for the better.
Mignolet is convinced Sunderland's squad - bolstered by 11 summer signings - will come good and ease the nerves on Wearside.
"We definitely have more quality this season than last," Mignolet told the Sunday Sun.
"I don't think we've played too badly, but if we can get a few more goals then I'm sure the points will come and we can start to climb the league.
"I think we just need one good win, like the one against Stoke a few weeks ago, and then people will see how well we can play.
When a lot of new players come in at once, it takes time for them to gel.
"We had 11 players come in over the summer and it is not easy to get everyone playing as one straight away.
"Then again, we can't use that as an excuse - it is time now to get some points on the board."
