Sunderland goalkeeper Marton Fulop was left frustrated by their defeat at Fulham.
Fulop was a virtual spectator for the 90 minutes, but was beaten by Bobby Zamora for the only goal of the game.
The overall lack of activity made defeat even more frustrating for Fulop, who told safc.com: "It was a good header from Zamora [for the goal], but other than that I only had two or three things to do.
"It was a very tough game, a battle as we expected. They were the better team in the first half and we were a touch better in the second.
"Schwarzer had a very good game for them; it was frustrating to go away from home again and get nothing, and to be standing here after a defeat."
Clearly frustrated, Fulop added: "We have Portsmouth next week and can only look forward to those games. Getting our heads down and working hard is the key. That's it."
