Sunderland are eyeing Finnish youngster Alexander Ring.
The 21 year-old midfielder is on-loan at Borussia Monchengladbach from HJK Helsinki.
Sunderland are being linked with Ring, who is regarded as the best player Finland have produced since former Barcelona and Liverpool star Jari Litmanen.
