Sunderland deserves more than the bottom - Advocaat

Dick Advocaat is desperate to see Sunderland climb up the Premier League rankings to where they should belong.

The Dutch tactician has been impressed by the Wearside club's facilities and supporters since replacing Gus Poyet earlier this year and he feels the Black cats are too big an outfit to be battling relegation as they are doing this campaign.

"It's a great club with a great stadium, the facilities at the training ground are brilliant, so in that way you can see that this club deserves more than the bottom, where they have been the last four years," he told SAFSee.

Sunderland currently sit 16th on the league table, two points clear of the drop zone, with two fixtures remaining.
