Sunderland defender Anthony Reveillere says he'll embrace the busy Christmas schedule.

The Frenchman joined Sunderland as a free agent earlier this season.

"In France, you play the weekend before Christmas and then it stops until January 5," said the former Rennes, Lyon, Valencia and Napoli full-back.

"I don't like that because you lose a bit of conditioning and preparation. But here it's the complete opposite with a lot of matches that are tiring.

"You have to prepare mentally for that to play every two or three days.

"But it's a challenge I'm looking forward to."
