Sunderland reserves coach Keith Bertschin is confident star winger James McClean will stay grounded.
McClean's impact meant Sunderland had to act quickly and offer him a much-improved contract reflecting his status as a rising star, which he signed last month. And Bertschin is convinced he will be able to cope with the pressure of being in the spotlight.
"He's a nice boy and he got the spoils of a new contract," said the ex-Black Cats striker.
"I've seen nice boys get spoiled with new contracts, but I'm pretty sure it won't happen to him."
