Sunderland are waiting to pounce for Liverpool defender Tiago Ilori.

The Sunderland Echo says Ilori could be set for a summer exit from Liverpool with Sunderland waiting in the wings.

The Black Cats have sent scouts to watch Ilori - who is currently on loan at Bordeaux - on numerous occasions.

Ilori has failed to make a single first team appearance for Liverpool so far but is highly-rated nonetheless and Sunderland are likely to face competition for his signature should he be allowed to leave Anfield.
