Four Premier League clubs are tracking Hellas Verona utility player Jacopo Sala.
The Daily Mail says Tottenham, Liverpool, Sunderland and West Ham United are all keen.
The 23-year-old Italian came through the ranks at Chelsea but failed to break through and followed Frank Arnesen to Hamburg before returning to Italy.
He has since impressed particularly as a right wing back but has looked impressive in midfield also. The Italy U21 international is open to a move should Verona receive suitable bids.
