Sunderland boss Gus Poyet is confident Connor Wickham's form won't go to his head.
Wickham's five goals in three games has helped fire Poyet's side out of the relegation zone.
Poyet said: "We have to make sure he keeps his feet on the ground. It can't be any other way, and between him, us and his family, we'll make sure we do that.
"Keeping players grounded is part of the job of any manager and while keeping Connor's confidence up, we won't let him get too high. Right now, everything's going right for him. I said a few weeks ago, if one of the squad could win the player of the month award, it would help us to victories in a few games. I was hoping this month we would get Fabio Borini or Adam Johnson again, but it's Connor, and that's great."
