Sunderland boss Gus Poyet won't rush a permanent deal for on-loan Swansea City midfielder Ki Sung-Yeung.
Ki is on a season-long loan at Sunderland.
"There are so many things that I need to look at in January and, for the moment, I have to prioritise," said Poyet.
"I am looking at certain specialist positions where I am convinced we need to strengthen.
"It's not that it is not a priority because of Ki, it is not a priority because there are other things we need to deal with first.
"He's with us for the whole season and I am very happy with him, so we will see what happens."
