Sunderland boss Martin O'Neill is going for Freiburg striker Papiss Cisse.
The Mirror says O'Neill is keen to land the strapping forward who plays for German relegation favourites Freiburg.
But Cisse has headed off to the Africa Cup of Nations and is unlikely to be back before the transfer window closes.
Cisse will be sold for around £10million by the Bundesliga outfit, where he has scored nine goals this season despite Freiburg's dismal form.
