Sunderland boss Roy Keane had words of warning for matchwinner Anthony Stokes after Saturday's victory over Derby.
"He could be a top, top player . . . or he could be playing non-league in four or five years' time.
"He'll go one way or the other, I'm sure. He does things in training a lot of players can't do. Unfortunately, a lot of players are brilliant in training but don't do it in a match.
"The obvious pitfall is places like the Glass Spider. He's young and he's going to make mistakes but he has to be careful. He has to work extremely hard and listen to the good staff we've got here, who are always encouraging him.
"There are plenty of great examples of players going one way or the other. Ryan Giggs has been a top player for years but I've seen others I won't name who looked like they could be world stars and disappeared.
"It's important his family look after him and, as his manager, I've a role to play.
"But you can't follow the modern player 24 hours a day."
