Sunderland boss Roy Keane is ready to sign permanently Olympique Marseille striker Djibril Cisse.
Cisse has scored twice in the first seven games of his season-long loan at Sunderland from Marseille.
The Black Cats have agreed a £10m fee with the French club to make Cisse their record signing - if he is a hit on Wearside.
And Roy Keane, who brought £9m keeper Craig Gordon to Sunderland, said: "Cisse's getting stronger each week. We've seen a bit of what he's capable of with his pace and power."
