Sunderland boss Di Canio wants to keep hold of Sessegnon

Sunderland boss Paolo di Canio insists he wants to keep Stephane Sessegnon.

The striker has been linked with a move to the Middle Eastern this week.

"He's part of my plans," insisted Di Canio.

"Anything can happen, not just with Sess - with John O'Shea, anybody.

"But with what I've seen from him during the summer, we've now got a good footballer."
