Sunderland boss Steve Bruce says Ryan Noble isn't ready for a first team call.

Noble claimed a hat-trick in the reserves' 3-0 midweek win over Newcastle, and is pushing for a start with Connor Wickham sidelined until Christmas.

But Bruce revealed: "Physically, Ryan's still got a long way to go. You can't ignore the fact that he scores a goal, but sometimes you've just got to be patient and wait for nature to take its course."
