Tom Eaves impressed watching Premiership scouts with a hat-trick for Oldham Athletic against Bolton Wanderers.
Eaves' hat-trick ended Bolton's unbeaten pre-season run and gave boss Owen Coyle plenty to think about in inspiring Oldham's 3-0 victory.
Coyle sent out a virtual full-strength side for the pre-season friendly clash at Boundary Park but saw his side undone by the first-half substitute.
Eaves, who replaced Warren Feeney when the Northern Ireland international picked up an injury, gave the npower League 1 side a 24th-minute lead, doubled the lead four minutes before the break and completed his hat-trick in the 55th minute.
Bolton, Blackpool, Blackburn Rovers and Sunderland are all chasing the young attacker.
